We rent an inexpensive ancient style tents for displaying your trade or activity.
These tents are waterproofed and not afraid of wind and rain. They are made of entirely natural materials such as wood and linen fabrics. Tents stand out for their authenticity and beautiful appearance.
Price of one tent: 70 EUR per 24 h.

EDUCATIONAL EXHIBITION „PATH OF YARN“
CAN COME TO YOU! Mobile educational exhibition „Path of Yarn“ about ancient/household processing of linen and wool in Lithuania and Norway can come to you! Historical material, photos of interwar and modern times, authentic and newly made processing tools of linen and wool used in Lithuania and Norway in 19th – early 20th century are exhibited in the exhibition. Visitors can “go through” the path of linen and woolen yarn from fibers to fabric, and try all processes: heckling flax, spin with a spindle or spinning wheel, weave and do other little-known-for-us activities of this traditional craft. Contents of mobile educational exhibition: 1-5 stands: Lithuanian linen (from planting to heckling) is exhibited on one side of stands, Norwegian wool (from sheep to carding) on other side of stands. 6-7 stands: Spinning of linen and wool on one side of stands, yarn preparation for weaving and weaving on other side of stands. 8-9 stands: fulling of kersey and mangling of textile on one side of stands, examples of linen and woolen festival clothes on other side of stands. Languages of texts: Lithuanian, Norwegian and English. Negotiable price. |
